Iliad Media Group helps local businesses be heard on the radio and found online with stories that make customers eager to buy. We are looking to grow our Street Team with someone who is confident, outgoing, and excited to help represent our stations and our company in front of listeners and clients at remote broadcasts and events throughout the Treasure Valley.

In the Remote Technician role, your focus is on showcasing our stations to listeners and clients at live remote broadcasts and events. You prepare for, set up, conduct, and tear down our live events throughout the year. You will have an opportunity to work with On-Air Talent to conduct live remote broadcasts. You take great care to make sure our setup, equipment, vehicles, and yourself look the best they can as we display our brands in front of listeners.

Things we would need you to do:

  • Be the face of Iliad Media Group on the streets with Listeners and Clients

  • Display a happy and helpful attitude in all interactions with staff, listeners, and clients

  • Take every opportunity to market our stations and personalities when you are at an event.

  • Coordinate with internal staff as needed regarding remote scheduling and planning.

  • Set up, operate, and oversee electronic equipment used to acquire, edit and transmit audio production for radio remote broadcasts.

  • Control and adjust broadcast signals to regulate the sound volume, signal strength, and signal clarity.

  • Closely monitor remote broadcast equipment including but not limited to: vans, tents, tables, balloons, and generators.

  • Support on-air talent with the implementation of on-site contesting and promotions.

  • Interact with listeners and clients

  • Tear down equipment and clean up remote sites prior to leaving.

  • Proactively communicate with the Promotions Coordinator about any anticipated remote broadcast equipment issues.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Take and follow direction

  • Able to lift 50 lbs

  • Reliable and On-time

  • Works well individually or in a group

  • Multitask and work long hours including night and weekends

  • Excellent communication skills and able to interact effectively with the stationclients and listeners

  • Outgoing Individual, People-Person, Interacts well with public/listeners

  • Flexible availability hours. Willing to work weekdays, and weekends. (Morning, afternoon, and nights).

Base Salary: $15 per hour plus opportunities for additional compensation.
