Yep, you read right. Yahoo! Finance reported that Twin Falls saw a year-over-year increase of 36.3%. That is more than any city in the U.S. and over double the national rate of 18%.

Massive New Building Unveiled for Downtown Twin

As if you needed further evidence of the Twin Boom, The Idaho Statesman confirmed the 15,000 square-foot Main Avenue Loft will feature office, retail and restaurant space. The beautiful result will be delivered by the development company Galena Equity Partners.

A sad consequence of the pandemic is the reduced turnout of blood donors

Fortunately, heroes like 12-year-old Jonah McCarty are working to increase it.

A karate prodigy, Jonah is in the process of earning his black belt, and that means delivering a community service project. His couldn’t be more important. Whether for surgeries, treatment or emergency care, blood is always needed, and only acquired through generous donations.

Gender Wage Gap in Idaho Not Helping Women

Recent reports show Idaho lagging behind most other states in closing the gender wage gap. Downtown Twin Falls has some wonderful women-owned businesses such as Yellow Brick Cafe, Unique Twist Jewelry, and Studio G Fitness; but as detailed here, there’s still a ways to go. Idaho Women’s Business Center is doing a lot to change that, and you can be a part of it.

United & SkyWest Cancel Twin Falls to Denver Flights

November 30 was the last day of operation for United Express flights between Twin Falls and Denver. A sad result seeing as they just started in May, but this is believed to be another effect of the COVID pandemic.

Downtown Ice Skating Rink Sets December 5 Opening
